    • VERIFIED VEHICLE HAS NO POWER. WAS ABLE TO JUMP START VEHICLE TO GET INTO SERVICE BAY. CHARGED BATTERY ON CHARGER OVER NIGHT. VEHICLE STARTED IN THE MORNING AS IT SHOULD. BATTERY IS NOT AN AGM BATTERY AND THIS VEHICLE REQUIRES AGM BATTERY. ADVISED CUSTOMER THAT BATTERY SHOULD BE AN AGM BATTERY. ADVISED CUSTOMER THAT BATTERY IS COMPROMISED SINCE IT WAS FULLY DECHARGED. RECOMMEND CUSTOMER GETTING CORRECT AGM BATTERY FOR VEHICLE.ON TEST DRIVE NOTICED ALTERATOR WHINE. TESTED ALTERNATOR OUTPUT. ALTERNATOR OUTPUT WITH ALL LOADS ON IS 12.02 VOLTS WHICH IS LOW, SHOULD BE 13.5-14 VOLTS. AC RIPPLE OF ALTERNATOR WAS AT 1 VOLT, MAX SPEC IS .5 VOLTS. WHEN REVING MAX VOLTAGE ALTERNATOR CHARGES IS 12.9 VOLTS, SHOULD BE 13.5-14 VOLTS. ALTERNATOR IS NOT CHARGING AS IT SHOULD. -ALTERNATOR – REMOVED & REPLACED – LEARNED ALTERNATOR TO VEHICLE. -CUSTOMER WENT AND GOT CORRECT AGM BATTERY FOR VEHICLE. REMOVED & INSTALLED CUSTOMER PROVIDED BATTERY.

    • Verified. Scanned. 4 engine faults. Faults P2D2E: Cold start Intake Manifold Runner Performance Bank 2, P200A: Intake Manifold Runner Performance Bank 1 & P2D2D: Cold start intake Manifold Runner performance bank 1: All for intake runner(swirl valves) performance. Verified runner position with key on engine off bank 1 at 1% and Bank 2 at 36% resting. Bank 2 swirl valves either broken and/or excessive carbon deposits. P0128: Thermostat Rationality: Found thermostat not reaching operating temperature. Removed intake manifold, found Bank 2 swirl valves stuck at 30%. Intake manifold does have carbon build up due to EGR design on this vehicle. Once intake manifold was removed, found coolant feed hose for turbocharge split. Recommend replacing coolant feed hose while intake manifold is off of vehicle. Recommend replacing intake manifold. Recommend replacing thermostats. -INTAKE MANIFOLD WITH GASKETS – REMOVED & REPLACED -REQUIRED REPLACING 1 EGR GASKET WHEN REMOVING INTAKE MANIFOLD. -COOLANT FEED HOSE – REMOVED & REPLACED -THERMOSTAT & GASKET – REMOVED & REPLACED
