- FULL DIGITAL INSPECTION
- FLOOR MAT & SEAT COVER IN CUSTOMER VEHICLE
- INSPECT & CLEAN ANY GREASE MARKS AND FINGER PRINTS FROM INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF CUSTOMERS VEHICLE WHEN DONE WITH REPAIRS
- RESET SERVICE LIGHT IF PERFORMING OIL CHANGE
- WHEEL LOCK KEY LOCATION_________________________________
- Check engine lamp. Scanned and 6 engine faults. 3 EVAP, 2 fuel trim and 1 Oxygen Sensor. Tested powers and ground to B2S1 Oxygen sensor all good. Heater resistance out of spec. Needs B2S1 Oxygen sensor replaced. Faults P0173 and P0170 fuel trim bank 1 and 2. Purge valve sealing properly, smoke tested and Oil cap leaks. Performed volumetric efficiency test and passes. Fuel trims ok right now. Either a solenoid sticking but not now or oil cap. Need to replace oil cap then reset PCM. EVAP has what looks like a new gas cap but is aftermarket possible motorad brand and may not be sealing correctly. Would like to try a different brand fuel cap and reinspect. -B2S1 OXYGEN SENSOR – REMOVED & REPLACED -OIL CAP – REMOVED & REPLACED -FUEL CAP – REMOVED & REPLACED
- AC clutch not engaging. Found connection taped up. Untaped and found broken body harness side of connector. But this is not the failure. Failed part is AC clutch. Powers and grounds test good. PCM requests clutch on. -A/C COMPRESSOR – Removed & Replaced – [DOES NOT include Air Conditioning System recover, evacuate and/or recharge.]
- EVACUATED, PULLED VACUUM & MONITORED SYSTEM TO CHECK FOR POSSIBLE LEAKS. RECHARGED AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM PER FACTORY SPECIFICATIONS.
- SPOKE WITH CUSTOMER, CUSTOMER SAID VEHICLE WOULD OVER HEAT WHILE IN DRIVE THRU'S. RECOMMEND STARTING WITH THERMOSTAT AND REINSPECTING. -THERMOSTAT & GASKET – Removed & Replaced – V6
